Mintlify is a documentation platform. The pages call it "The intelligent documentation platform" with self-updating documentation for startups, enterprises, and agents. Agents here means A.I. programs that read and use your docs.
You keep your docs in a Git repository. Each page is a Markdown file, and your site settings live in a file called docs.json. You can edit in a web editor or on your own computer. Mintlify hosts the site for you, so there are no servers to run. On paid plans you also get an A.I. assistant that answers questions from your docs, a writing agent, and automations that update your docs. A.I. features run on credits. The Starter plan is free, and every new account can try Pro free for 14 days.

Watch out for
- ⚠️ A.I. features aren't on the free Starter plan; they need Pro or Enterprise
- 💳 A.I. actions use credits, and extra credits cost $0.01 each, so keep an eye on usage
- Enterprise pricing isn't listed; you have to contact the company
